DEF LEPPARD ON TOUR FOR 2008 !


Def Leppard has finished work on its latest disc of original material since 2002's X and announced the first sets of dates for a 2008 world tour in support of the new album.
The band will kick off the journey March 27 at Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina and make stops at 19 arenas across the U.S. and Canada before heading back to Europe for the summer.
Other North American stops include Germain Arena in Estero, Fla. (March 30), Sovereign Center in Reading, Pa. (April 3), Duncan Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. (April 9), ScotiaBank Place in Ottawa (April 12), Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. (April 18), Spokane Arena in Washington (April 23) and Coors Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, Calif. (April 26).
Joining Def Leppard for all North American dates are Styx and REO Speedwagon.
Presale tickets for some shows are available to members of the band's fan club at TicketMaster.com and LiveNation.com. General ticket sales begin January 11. VIP packages are available at ILoveAllAccess.com.
European stops announced for the tour so far include Norway, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Denmark, Holland, Belgium and Greece.

Def Leppard's upcoming album, which is currently going by the working title of Songs from the Sparkle Lounge, is due for release some time in the early part of the year.
